So, you’ve probably seen a ton of animated films, but 'Sting' is a bit different. It’s this quirky take on a bee’s life, presented in a unique anime style that really stands out. The animation feels vibrant yet somewhat muted, giving it this dreamlike quality. The pacing is a bit unconventional, meandering through scenes that let you soak in the atmosphere of the bee world—lots of close-ups on flowers and hives. Themes of community and survival are explored, which is pretty fitting for a bee narrative. The voice performances are solid, really bringing those characters to life. I find the practical effects used for the environments kind of charming, too. Not your average bee movie, that's for sure.
