Stormbreaker is an interesting blend of action and adventure that captures a certain youthful energy. The pacing leans heavily into the brisk, keeping you engaged without overstaying its welcome. Alex Rider, played by a young Alex Pettyfer, embodies that mix of naivety and bravery that marks the coming-of-age trope. The plot unravels nicely around the espionage theme, with some decent practical effects that give it a bit of a grounded feel. The film still has that family-friendly touch, which can feel a bit odd in the spy genre, but it works for the target audience. Geoffrey Sax's direction keeps things visually engaging, but it’s the cast that really brings the quirky characters to life. Worth a look if you're into teen-centric spy flicks.
