So, Superman: Brainiac Attacks is an interesting piece from 2006, blending action with that signature animation style. The story dives into Lex Luthor's envy of Superman, which is a classic theme, right? He teams up with Brainiac, and it gets pretty wild with that advanced tech and some Kryptonite from space. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, like it can’t quite decide if it wants to be a family flick or something darker. The voice performances are decent, but you can feel some of the energy is missing compared to other entries in the Superman canon. The animation itself has that early 2000s charm, but it might not hold up for everyone. Still, there’s something to appreciate in how it tackles the notion of fear versus heroism.
Interesting take on Luthor's character development.Explores themes of jealousy and technology.Animation style reflective of mid-2000s trends.
