The pacing really ramps up after Riska goes missing; it pulls you in. The film delves into themes of trust and the weight of unspoken tensions among friends, which I found compelling. While the direction is a bit mysterious since the helmer’s not credited, the performances bring out the emotional undercurrents quite well. There’s some effective practical effects that enhance the tension, too. It feels like a slow burn, but there's something about the way it unfolds that keeps you engaged.
