Survivor (2014) is one of those films that feels like a wild ride through chaos. The pacing keeps you on edge, with constant threats from both the bloodthirsty aliens and the mysterious warriors lurking in the shadows. Practical effects are used quite effectively, enhancing the gritty realism of the whole experience. Performances are decent, though not groundbreaking, they serve the story well. What stands out to me is how it explores themes of survival and humanity in a world stripped of civilization. Definitely a unique entry in the sci-fi genre, with a raw, unrefined charm.
