Tim Story's 'Taxi' (2004) is an interesting mix of action and comedy that leans heavily on the chemistry between Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon. The fast-paced New York backdrop really adds to the chaos, often overshadowing the thin plot about bank robbers. You get a real sense of the city as they zip around in the cab. The performances are energetic—Latifah is just electric behind the wheel, and Fallon's awkwardness plays off well, though he can feel a bit one-note. It's not groundbreaking by any means, but the car chases are solid enough, and there's a cheeky charm to the way the film embraces its silly premise. It’s worth a watch if you enjoy a light-hearted crime caper.
