Team Spirit is an interesting take on the horror-thriller genre, weaving in character conflicts that spiral into chaos. You’ve got this group of amateur ghost hunters—think the usual tropes, but they’re not just facing the supernatural; they're facing each other’s darker sides, which is a fresh angle. The tension builds slowly, almost claustrophobically, which works well with the atmospheric practical effects. The performances, especially from Joshua Roberts as Joel, feel raw and authentic, pulling you into their uneasy dynamics. The script is layered, too, playing with themes of trust and betrayal within a group that should be united against the unknown. It’s not your typical ghost story, that’s for sure.
