So, 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze' carries that quirky charm of the first film but leans more into the comedic side. The practical effects for the Turtles are still impressive, with those costumes really making the characters feel alive. The mix of action and humor is pretty well balanced, although the plot can feel a bit thin at times. Ernie Reyes Jr. as Keno adds a nice youthful energy, and the Turtles’ banter is fun, even if it doesn't quite match the grit of the original. But hey, it’s all about that nostalgic vibe, right? The showdown with Shredder is just over-the-top enough to be memorable. Plus, who doesn’t love the introduction of Tokka and Rahzar?.
