Terral is a 2022 drama that kinda lingers in your mind after watching. The pacing is slow, but it gives you time to absorb the atmosphere, which is thick with tension and emotional weight. The performances are pretty raw, almost unrefined, which I find adds to the authenticity of the story. It doesn't really follow conventional narrative arcs, but rather explores complex themes about existence and human connection in a fragmented way. Practical effects are minimal, letting the characters and their interactions drive the film. There's a certain grit to it that makes it distinctive, like it’s peeling back layers of reality just to show you the raw truth underneath.
