The Addicted is an interesting little horror flick that dives into the aftermath of tragedy in a quite unsettling way. Set in an abandoned rehab clinic, the atmosphere is thick with tension and a sense of dread that builds throughout the night. The four friends, plus the TV journalist, definitely bring a palpable mix of curiosity and fear, which adds to the pacing. Some of the practical effects are surprisingly effective, heightening the eeriness without relying too much on CGI. There's something haunting about how it captures the themes of addiction and the ghosts—literal and metaphorical—that linger. It's not groundbreaking, but there's a raw quality to it that sticks with you, and the performances feel genuine, pulling you into their plight.
