The Ambulance is a gritty little flick that dives into desperation and moral conflict. You’ve got these two brothers, just trying to do right by their dying mom, and then they pull off this heist that spirals into chaos. The pacing feels relentless, which really ramps up the tension. The atmosphere is heavy with dread, especially when they realize they’ve got a heart patient and an intern in the back of the ambulance. It's not flashy, but the practical effects and the raw performances lend it a certain visceral quality. I mean, the way they handle that claustrophobic setting in the ambulance is pretty neat. Definitely has that indie vibe, which might not sit well with everyone, but there’s something refreshingly raw about it.
