The Best of GG Allin and The Murder Junkies dives deep into the chaotic world of GG Allin, capturing some of the most outrageous and raw performances. It's gritty, unfiltered, and you really get a sense of the underground music scene of the time. The pacing is frenetic, much like GG himself, jumping from one wild moment to another without much warning. The film doesn’t shy away from the more disturbing aspects of his persona—violence, self-destruction, and a complete disregard for societal norms. You can feel the tension in the air during the live shows, which are practically a visceral experience. And even though GG’s impact is polarizing, it’s hard to ignore the energy and emotion he brought to the stage. Not for the faint-hearted, that's for sure.
