So, The Cell 2, directed by Tim Iacofano, really dives into a twisted psychological horror with a sci-fi twist. The atmosphere is dark, almost suffocating, reflecting the relentless cycle of the Cusp's killings. You can feel the weight of Maya's trauma; her character is brought to life by a solid performance that really captures the horror of being trapped in that loop. The pacing is interesting too, sometimes it lingers just enough to build tension before hitting you with those practical effects that are surprisingly effective. It’s distinct in how it plays with the idea of life, death, and the agony in between. Not your conventional sequel, that’s for sure. Worth a look if you’re into psychological thrillers with a supernatural edge.
