So, The Demolisher is an interesting piece. It's got this gritty, claustrophobic tone that really gets under your skin. Bruce, the main character, is kind of a wreck - he's a repairman who’s spiraling into the dark side of vigilantism, driven by his sense of duty towards his wife, Samantha. The pacing is a bit uneven, but it works, building tension as Bruce’s mental state deteriorates. The horror elements creep in pretty effectively, thanks to some solid practical effects. It leans heavily into themes of justice and personal responsibility, wrapped in a gritty thriller vibe. Not your run-of-the-mill action flick, for sure. It leaves you with a lingering unease, which I find quite compelling.
