The Donut Man: Camp Harmony is one of those unique gems where music and family values collide in a light-hearted way. The film follows the Donut Repair Club as they head off to camp, and you can really feel the camaraderie and innocence of childhood throughout. The pacing is pretty standard for a kids' flick, but the songs stick with you. "The Buddy Song" feels catchy enough without being overly saccharine. The dynamics between characters, especially when Matt resists teamwork, create a nice tension, leading to those rescue missions that kids would totally relate to. It's not groundbreaking, but there's something comforting about its simple storytelling and the practical effects that give it a certain charm.
