So, The Doors - The Soft Parade is an interesting piece. Directed by Ray Manzarek, it's a really unique documentary that captures a moment in time with The Doors' last televised performance from '69. The atmosphere is thick with nostalgia, and you can really feel the late '60s vibe permeating every frame. The editing is a bit choppy at times, which kind of adds to that raw energy of the band. The music is, of course, front and center, but there’s also this underlying commentary about the era. It doesn’t shy away from the darker themes, either. Overall, it's a fascinating look at both the band and the cultural landscape they were part of. Definitely a gem for those into rock history.
