The Elevator (2015) is a curious little piece in the horror catalog. Its atmosphere is thick with tension, largely due to its confined setting. You're stuck in an elevator with characters who are as trapped by their fears as they are by the space. The pacing is deliberate, allowing dread to build slowly, which plays nicely into its themes of isolation and vulnerability. The practical effects, while minimal, feel grounded and enhance that creeping sense of unease. Performances are solid; the cast brings a real sense of desperation that draws you in. It's the type of film that lingers in your mind, questioning what lurks in the shadows of the everyday mundanity. Definitely adds a unique flavor to any horror collection.
