The Evil of Nowhere is this interesting little paranormal documentary that really leans into its eerie atmosphere. Shot in a seemingly abandoned farmhouse, the film follows four enthusiasts who are looking to capture the essence of haunting. The pacing is a bit slow at times, but it builds this kind of tension that feels quite palpable. I love how they use practical effects over CGI, keeping things raw and unsettling. The performances are varied; some moments feel quite genuine, while others come off a bit staged, but it adds to the film's charm. It captures that feeling of isolation and dread beautifully, and you can't help but get absorbed in their quest to confront what they believe is pure evil lurking in the shadows.
