The Exortwist is a curious blend of animation, comedy, and horror that really plays with its offbeat tone. It’s got this whimsical yet unsettling vibe, especially during Mr. Holybar’s late-night visit to Lolli's. Twizzly, who’s usually the epitome of sweetness, becomes the center of this darkly comedic tale, her health kick adding a bizarre twist. The animation style, while not groundbreaking, complements the quirky narrative and the characters are definitely memorable, even if some might find them a bit unsettling. The pacing isn’t rushed; it lets the oddities simmer, which enhances the horror elements. It’s definitely distinct in how it tackles themes of childhood innocence versus adult expectations, and that juxtaposition is what caught my interest.
Quirky animation style that enhances the story.A darkly comedic take on childhood themes.Characters that linger long after viewing.
