The Glass Web is a noir-infused thriller by Jack Arnold that plays with the darker sides of ambition and deceit. You’ve got a manipulative diva, a steamy affair, and a murder that spins out of control. The pacing is tight, interspersing tension with just enough melodrama to keep you engaged. The performances, especially from the leads, have this deliciously tense vibe; you can really feel the stakes rising. And the concept of turning a murder into a TV show episode is a nice touch that adds a meta layer. Visually, it’s pretty standard for its time, but there's a real charm in the practical effects that pull you into the world. Worth a watch if you're into crime mysteries that have a few twists and a bit of camp.
