So, 'The Huldra' is this interesting little piece of filmmaking from a group of high school students. It’s a blend of horror and romance that really leans into folklore, pulling from those chilling tales of creatures hiding in the woods. The atmosphere is thick with tension, especially as the boy's fascination grows into something darker. You can feel the rawness in the performances, typical of young actors still finding their footing. The pacing does stumble a bit, but there’s a certain charm in that youthful energy. Practical effects are minimal but effective, which really gives it an authentic feel. It’s not your standard high school project, and I admire the ambition behind it. Definitely a curiosity in the genre.
