The Karma of Sins is an interesting exploration of fate and consequence, wrapped up in a horror package. It’s not overly polished, but it has this raw, gritty atmosphere that really pulls you into Kobe’s dark underbelly. Mo’s visit to his friend Tsuke feels like it’s setting the stage for something much deeper, especially when Uma enters the picture, running from her own demons. The film's pacing is a bit uneven, but it amplifies the tension. There’s a distinct use of practical effects that adds to the film’s authenticity, grounding the surreal aspects of karma in a believable way. Performances are solid; you feel the desperation of the characters and their intertwined fates really hit home.
