The Laundry Room (2018) is an intriguing little horror-thriller that plays with the mundane and the macabre. The premise seems simple – a young man just trying to get through his laundry, but it quickly morphs into something unsettling. The atmosphere is thick, almost claustrophobic, which really adds to the tension. There’s a subtle build-up that keeps you on edge, and while the director remains unknown, the practical effects do a decent job of creating that eerie feeling. Performances are solid, capturing the protagonist's gradual descent into dread. It’s not groundbreaking, but there's something about its ability to take an everyday scenario and twist it into a nightmare that sticks with you. Definitely worth having in a diverse horror collection.
