So, 'The Matrix Revolutions' is the final chapter of that cyberpunk trilogy we know too well. The atmosphere is darker, more desperate as Zion faces its inevitable siege. You can really feel the weight of the war; it’s not just action for action’s sake. The pacing feels a bit like a roller coaster, some slow moments interspersed with explosive battles—especially that epic showdown with the machines. The practical effects hold up nicely, and there are some standout performances, particularly from Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving. They really bring the whole struggle to life. It's not without its flaws, but there's a certain ambition here that deserves recognition.
Released on November 5, 2003, in the USA.Filmed using a mix of practical effects and CGI.Features a score by Don Davis, complementing the action.Stunts coordinated by Yuen Woo-ping, known for martial arts choreography.
