So, The Prank is this interesting adaptation of Hero from '92, and it has a unique vibe. You’ve got Reza, played by Parviz Parastui, who’s this petty criminal that unexpectedly becomes a hero when he saves airplane crash survivors. The story takes a twist, though, as his buddy Ebrahim (Habib Rezaei) ends up claiming the credit. The performances are pretty solid, and there's a nice blend of comedy with those serious undertones. The pacing feels a bit off at times, but that just adds to its charm, I guess. The film's atmosphere is really distinctive, weaving in cultural nuances that give it depth. Definitely something that stands out in the realm of Persian cinema.
