So, The Quireboys: One More For The Road is this live gig captured at the Mean Fiddler back in 2005, which is pretty neat for fans of the band. The atmosphere is raw and electric, typical of their style, and you can feel the energy of the crowd. They play some of their classics like '7 O'Clock' and 'Hey You', which are great to hear live, you know? The pacing is solid, keeping the excitement up throughout the set. I always thought their mix of rock with a bit of a punk edge made for a distinctive sound. The extras on the DVD, like the 'Tears In Heaven' video, add nice context about their touring life. It’s all about that live experience, really.
