So, The Reunion 2: The Funeral is a wild ride from director Mikkel Serup. It’s that blend of comedy with a sprinkle of dark humor, you know? The story kicks off with Thomas' impending nuptials and this bachelor party that quickly spirals into chaos after an unexpected death. The pacing is brisk, keeping you on your toes with both laughter and a bit of tension. The mix of speed-dating and infidelity adds layers to the characters—who are all pretty well portrayed, I’d say. There’s a rawness in the friendships and the situations they find themselves in. It’s distinctly Danish in its humor, and while it’s got its share of outrageous moments, it’s also got this bittersweet undertone that feels genuine. Not your typical comedy, really.
