So, this one’s the follow-up to a pretty wild ride. Kiyoshi Kurosawa's direction really pulls you into the brooding atmosphere, and you feel the weight of Sho Aikawa's character. He’s got this haunted vibe, which is amplified by the slow-burn pacing – not everyone’s cup of tea, but it works here. The violence, while brutal, feels almost justified in its context, and the practical effects are pretty effective without being over-the-top. You get a sense of desperation mixed with that classic yakuza life. There’s a lot of moral grayness at play, which adds to the complexity. Definitely a film that sticks with you more than you'd expect.
