The Seduction School is an interesting little comedy-romance that plays with the tropes of seduction in a rather playful way. It’s got this light, almost whimsical tone, and while the director remains a mystery, the film channels a certain homage to Mauricio Garces’ work. Raul, transformed into Sombra, gives us a peek into his world of seduction after a heartbreak, sharing his wisdom with a trio of comedic sidekicks. The pacing, while not particularly fast, keeps things breezy as we follow their misadventures. You can sense a certain charm in the performances, particularly from the main cast, who embody their quirky roles with a delightful flair. It’s not groundbreaking, but there’s a lovely simplicity to its themes of love and friendship.
