The Sound of Things is this quiet, introspective drama that really lingers with you. It follows a young nurse grappling with the aftermath of her cousin's suicide, and man, it just hits differently. The pacing is slow, almost meditative, which I think suits the heavy themes of grief and healing. The atmosphere is thick with tension and sorrow, yet there's an underlying resilience in the protagonist's journey. It feels really grounded, thanks to some strong, understated performances that don’t overpower but rather resonate deeply. And even though the director is unknown, there's a definite touch of authenticity in the storytelling. You can sense the weight of the emotions in every scene, and that’s what makes it stand out.
