So, 'The Stress Is Killing Me' is one of those ensemble comedies that really captures the chaos of middle age and the wild dreams we all had back in college. It’s set during a 20th reunion, which is a neat angle because you get that nostalgia mixed with the harsh realities of life. The pacing is a bit scattershot, but that's part of its charm as the friends dive into their dream jobs with, well, disastrous results. The performances are solid, especially the guy trying to be a sex therapist—awkward but hilarious in the best way. It has this light, almost whimsical tone, but the themes of regret and aspiration run deeper than you'd expect. Lots of laugh-out-loud moments, though, so it balances out nicely.
