The Supernatural (2019) really captures that creeping dread you want from a horror flick. It starts off as this light-hearted adventure with friends that quickly shifts into something darker once they enter the abandoned house. The pacing is a bit uneven, but it adds a raw edge to the build-up. You can feel the tension in the air, and the practical effects they used really help sell the supernatural elements; there's something about seeing real things on screen that CGI just doesn’t nail. The atmosphere is thick with unease, and while the performances are a mixed bag, some moments really hit home. It’s not groundbreaking, but there’s a certain charm in its execution that makes it memorable.
