The Sword in the Stone has this whimsical yet educational vibe. It’s got that classic Disney charm, but with a twist. Wart's journey with Merlin is filled with playful moments and clever lessons about knowledge and growth. The animation is colorful and fluid, typical of the period, but there's a certain warmth in the character designs that feels uniquely Disney. I'd say the pacing can feel a bit uneven, especially in the middle, but the humor makes up for it. Plus, the voice performances, especially from Karl Swenson as Merlin, add a quirky depth. It’s like a little fairy tale wrapped in life lessons, which isn’t always easy to find in animation from this era.
