The T Word is quite an engrossing documentary, running just about an hour. It’s produced by Laverne Cox, so you know there's a genuine insight into the lives of its subjects. The film captures the lives of seven transgender youth from different cities like New York and New Orleans, aged 12 to 24. What stands out is the raw honesty. You get this real, unfiltered look at their joys and struggles, which is both uplifting and heavy at times. The pacing feels natural, and the way it flows allows you to really feel connected to each person's story. There’s a strong focus on personal narratives that really humanize their experiences, which is something you don’t see often in mainstream media.
