The Wounded Healer is quite an intriguing piece from 2018, you know? It's got this experimental vibe that makes you think deeply about religion and love, and how they intertwine. The pacing can feel a bit contemplative, almost meditative at times, which really allows the audience to soak in the themes. I'm particularly struck by the use of Lao Tzu's 'Wu Wei' as a backdrop; it adds a philosophical layer that's not often found in drama. The performances, while understated, convey a lot of emotional weight. It's definitely distinctive in its approach, letting the visuals and atmosphere take center stage rather than relying on dialogue-heavy scenes. A unique watch, for sure.
