There's a New Killer in Town really pulls you into this small-town vibe where everything seems so normal, until it isn’t. Alice, our main character, feels that unsettling shift when Ronnie, the writer, arrives. The pacing keeps you on edge, with suspense building slowly but surely as strange happenings escalate. You can almost feel the tension in the air, and the atmosphere does a great job of conveying that sense of dread. Performances are solid, particularly Alice's, who carries the emotional weight of the story. It's interesting how the film plays with themes of trust and betrayal, leaving you wondering who to believe. Not a lot of flashy effects here, but the practical ones they use add to that raw realism.
