Thir13en Ghosts is a curious mix of horror and thriller, often more about atmosphere than straightforward scares. The glass house is an interesting visual concept, serving as both a prison and a character in itself. The practical effects used for the ghosts are a standout, really bringing a unique flavor to each specter, though some might argue the CGI is a bit overdone in spots. The pacing has its ups and downs—there are moments that drag a bit, but the tension builds nicely in others. Matthew Lillard's performance adds a layer of quirkiness that I found engaging, as he straddles both comic relief and genuine tension. Definitely not your standard ghost story.
