Three Way is a gritty little gem directed by Scott Ziehl. It has this raw, unrefined energy that really captures the bleakness of Lew's world. The atmosphere is thick with tension, as Lew, played by a solidly sketchy actor, meanders through his schemes. The pacing can feel uneven at times, but it really enhances that sense of desperation. Themes of moral ambiguity and the consequences of poor decisions hang heavy. I appreciate the practical effects used, which add a weightiness to the darker scenes. It’s not your typical crime thriller, and that's what makes it memorable in a way. You can’t help but feel for Lew, even when he’s making some questionable choices.
