Time Bomb is a tight little thriller that weaves action and drama together, set against the high-stakes backdrop of a sports event in D.C. The tension is palpable, as Homeland Security races against the clock to thwart a bomb threat. Stephen Gyllenhaal’s direction really captures the urgency, and you can feel the weight of the situation with every scene. The pacing is swift but not so rushed that you lose the characters' depth. There's a real sense of dread throughout, and they use practical effects well during the action sequences, giving it a gritty feel. The performances are solid, adding layers to the otherwise straightforward plot. It’s a film that has its moments of intensity and a certain rawness that sticks with you.
