Together (1918) is this interesting blend of comedy and drama directed by O.A.C. Lund. You can really feel the tension as Laura and her sweetie, Jim, are racing against time. What’s cool here is how the film captures that early 20th-century atmosphere; it’s got this quaint yet urgent vibe. The pacing varies, with some moments dragging a touch, but it gives you time to soak in the relationships, especially between Laura and her brother Larry, who’s been missing for ages. The performances feel genuine, which is refreshing. The twists with the guardian Andrew Brean add a nice layer of conflict. It's not the smoothest ride, but you can appreciate its earnestness and the way it tackles themes of family and obligation.
