So, 'Trust Me' is a real interesting mix of comedy and drama, you know? Directed by Clark Gregg, it has a pretty unique perspective on the Hollywood talent scene through the eyes of Howard Holloway, a struggling agent who’s trying to sign this young starlet. The atmosphere feels like a blend of hopeful ambition and the grim realities of the industry, with a lot of sharp dialogue that keeps things engaging. The pacing isn’t rushed, allowing you to sit with Howard's frustrations and small victories. Performances are solid, especially from Gregg himself, who adds a layer of authenticity to the character. Also, the dynamics with the starlet’s father and the rival agent create some amusing tension. It’s got a nice indie feel too, which gives it a different flavor than your typical Hollywood fare.
