Try This One for Size is a quirky blend of comedy, crime, and mystery. The film's pacing is a bit unconventional, but it works well with Tom Lepski's character – he's charmingly hapless, you know? There's a lightness in the air, but it's contrasted by the serious stakes of the stolen medieval icon. The performances are pretty engaging, especially the cat-and-mouse dynamics between Lepski and the slick thief Bradley. You get this nice mix of tension and humor, like an old-school caper but with a modern twist. It might not be the most polished film out there, but its unique atmosphere and character-driven narrative make it stand out in the late '80s indie scene.
