So, this film, typ... Key West?, it's a raw look into the lives of Swedish teens caught in a downward spiral of crime and drugs. The tone is heavy, almost suffocating at times, reflecting the despair these kids face. Jocke's story, in particular, is haunting; his overdose at just 17 feels like a dark cloud over the group. The pacing is deliberate, allowing you to really sit with their struggles, which makes it all the more impactful. The performances are quite gritty and authentic, no gloss here. It's not flashy or overproduced, but there's something about its stark realism that sticks with you. Definitely leaves a mark.
