U.S. Catman 2: Boxer Blow is an interesting sequel that dives back into the chaotic world of underground fighting. It has this gritty, almost raw vibe to it, especially with how they handle the fights – practical effects and stunts really take the center stage here. Sam and Gus are back, and they play off each other well, adding some comic relief amidst the mayhem. The pacing is uneven, with some lulls that can catch you off guard, but then it ramps up with these bizarre character setups, like the new gang leader who’s just a huge guy in fatigues. It feels very of its time, with that late '80s action flair. Not for everyone, but definitely has its charm.
