I found the practical effects to be a standout, adding a layer of authenticity to the supernatural aspects. The performances, particularly that of Andrey, carry a weight that adds depth to his journey. It's a blend you don't see too often, and there are moments that feel genuinely unsettling. Not your run-of-the-mill vampire flick for sure.
