So, Vice (2015) is this wild ride into a future where humans can live out their fantasies in a resort filled with lifelike androids. The atmosphere is gritty, a bit dystopian, and there’s this underlying tension – you can almost feel the unease creeping in as the plot unfolds. The pacing has its moments, sometimes it drags but then hits you with action sequences that feel quite raw. The themes of consciousness and morality are interestingly explored, especially through the character of the self-aware android, who really pulls you in. The practical effects stand out in certain scenes, giving the film a tangible feel. Performances are decent, though some might say they could’ve used a bit more depth. It has its quirks, for sure.
