Vikadakumaran is an interesting mix of comedy and thriller, directed by Boban Samuel. You’ve got Binu Sebastian, who’s this small-time advocate, and the film does a good job of setting up his mundane life before the chaos kicks in. The pacing is pretty engaging, balancing laugh-out-loud moments with some tense sequences that keep you guessing. The way the plot unfolds, with its twists and turns, gives it an almost unpredictable vibe, which I appreciate. Performances are solid, especially Binu’s, as he navigates through the absurdities of his newfound case. It’s distinct in that it doesn’t just rely on slapstick humor but also digs into themes of ambition and morality in a somewhat light-hearted way. Definitely a film that stands out in its own quirky way.
