Walking with Lions presents a unique slice of life in the Zimbabwean bush. You got Phil and Lynne, a couple living right next to wildlife and they’re not just observers. The whole thing feels intimate, almost like you’re part of their journey. The use of those tiny infrared cameras really sets it apart, allowing for an unobtrusive glimpse into the lives of lions and other animals after dark. It’s all very natural and unforced, which I appreciate. The pacing is relaxed, allowing you to soak in the atmosphere, the sounds of the wild, and the interactions among these creatures. Really makes you think about conservation and the connection between humans and the natural world.
