Waning Moon is an interesting blend of drama and social commentary, with a plot that twists around relationships formed out of financial desperation. The performances here are a mixed bag; the leads do a solid job, but it's the supporting cast, particularly the gardener, that steals the show with a more nuanced portrayal.
