Witchfinder 2 is an interesting follow-up that really leans into its horror roots. It’s fascinating how they brought back so many familiar faces from the WAVE catalog, creating a sense of continuity over two decades. The performances are hit or miss, but that adds a certain charm, especially with the Scream Queen duo of Terri and Christine. There’s a rawness to the practical effects that I appreciate; they really go for it in some of the more gory moments. The pacing can be a bit uneven, but it captures a certain atmospheric dread that I think fans of the original will find engaging.
